Upon receipt of their first fee payment, students will be deemed to be actively enrolled in the ENSM.

Financial Policy

  • Students will only receive credit for course work upon the payment of fees.

  • Students will be liable for the full cost of their fees for the remainder of the semester in which they discontinued their studies.

  • Should the student re-enrol they will be required to pay the full fees for every semester in which they are enrolled until completion of their studies.

  • Students who have payed for the course in full, if choosing to discontinue will be reimbursed on pro-rata basis minus a €25 service charge.

If a student re-enrolls within three years:

  • They will have credit for all work they have been credited

  • They only need to pay for those portions of the course for which they have not received credit at the fee level based on fees current at time of re-enrolment.

  • After a three year gap in studies, students will be required to retake the course in its entirety.

Residential cancellation and non attendance Policy:

  • Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. Attendance at the first residential is expected. Any student not in attendance will be dis-enrolled have to wait for the next intake. They will be required to pay the deposit full in the following year.

  • Student fees cover the cost of two residentials in consecutive years. Students who are unable to attend consecutive years are liable for any price difference that may arise.

  • Students who attend a residential but are too unwell to attend all lectures may be liable to pay the full price of a residential in their third year.

Discontinuance Policy

When an actively enrolled student of the ENMS chooses to discontinue their studies for varying reasons the following policy will inform that process and decision:

Academic:

Students discontinuing their studies will be deemed only to have completed any Leadership 215 courses for which they have received a mark. Further, they will be deemed to have not completed any of the track work studies that fall within the semester in which they are discontinuing. Thus, should they wish to re-enrol and re-register in the future they will be required to re-register at the start of the semester in which they discontinued their studies. They will be required to repeat the full semester. They will only be required to attend the residential they have not attended (1st, 2nd, or both) if they attended the entire residential week.

Should the student have completed a full first semester including the intensive at the start of that semester, and then decide to continue their studies at a later point, after discontinuing, they will only be required to complete the second semester (as long as they enrol within a 3 year period from when they chose to discontinue).

Enrolment into the ENSM for a discontinuing student can happen at the start of each semester, obviously being for the student at the start of the semester in which they originally discontinued.

In highly extenuating circumstances a student may, with the written approval of the ENSM Director, be able to take a short period of time off their studies.

Administration:

Discontinuing students must send a letter/email to the ENSM administrator requesting a discontinuance of their studies.

The ENSM administrator will then communicate with the ENSM Director, as well as the Track Leader and the student will be issued with a letter confirming their complete discontinuance, or temporary suspension of studies, as the case may be with all the detail of the agreement relating to their discontinuance noted in the letter.
